Sundays at HLBC
We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:30am and again in the evening at 6pm in our church building on Hayes Lane. On this page, you’ll find details about what we do on Sundays — of course, you can get in touch to ask any questions!
We also live-stream our services on our Youtube channel, here.
What To Expect
We understand it can be daunting to come in to a new church for the first time, especially if it’s your first time at church in a while. So, when you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a friendly face or two, who can help you find a seat or answer any questions.
Our morning service starts at 10:30am, so you’ll probably want to arrive at least a few minutes before that to get settled — but don’t worry if you’re a little late, not everyone makes it on time. The service will include some notices, singing — led by a pianist and various other musicians — prayer, Bible readings and teaching.
After the first part of the meeting, children are invited to go through to the church hall for Sunday School. For our youngest guests there’s a crèche room with toys and an audio feed of the service for their parents. You can find out more about all of our kids & youth activities here.
After the end of the service, which is usually around 11:45am, there’s a chance to stay around to enjoy a tea or coffee and a chat.
