Church Life

We run a number of groups and activities throughout the week so have a look and see if there’s something that interests you.

Home Groups

Our home groups are informal meetings to study the Bible, pray and to generally get to know each other better. They meet in people’s homes across Bromley, but there is also a Zoom link for those who can’t be there in person.

If you’re new to the church and looking to be more involved, joining a home group would be a great next step.

All Kids Groups

Women’s Group

Our women’s group is a chance to meet and get to know other ladies in the church. On Monday mornings, we meet from 9:30–10:40am to explore God’s Word together, discussing how to apply it to our lives with a time of prayer.

Once a month, we also have an evening meeting. Our Ladies’ Nights tend to be more of a social event where we’ll enjoy an activity such as eating out, a craft evening or a sociable get-together in someone’s garden.

If you’d like to find out more, we’d love to hear from you — just send us a message.

Men’s Group

Our men’s group enables us to meet and get to know other men in the church. On the third Saturday of each month, we meet for a Prayer Breakfast. As well as eating and praying, we look at the Bible together and hear from a guest speaker. The breakfast starts at 8am and finishes around 9:30am.

We also have a monthly men’s social event which usually takes place on a Thursday evening. These are generally advertised in advance, but if you’d like to find out more, just get in touch with us.

‘Explored’ Courses

We regularly run a number of courses across a range of ‘life topics’. If you’d like to know more about any of these courses, just send us a message.

Marriage Courses

A range of courses supporting couples at various stages of their engagement or marriage.

Divorce Care

A divorce recovery support group where you can find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce.

Parenting Support

Resources and support for parents of children at different stages of life in a judgement-free environment.

Christianity Explored

A six-week course for those who are curious to find out what Christianity is really about, together with desserts, cakes and coffee.

Community Singers

Ever wished you could do more singing? Or wanted to join a choir but felt nervous because you can’t read music? Our community choir might just be for you!

We’re a mixed-ability group of all different ages and backgrounds who meet at the church each Tuesday from 10–11am for an enjoyable, pressure-free choir — led by our resident professional musician, Jonathan. Get in touch to find out more or get a preview on the Community Singers Youtube channel.

Hayes Ambassadors

Hayes Ambassadors is our football programme and academy. There are three main aspects:

Hayes Ambassadors Football Academy (School Years R–11)
The Academy runs from 9–11am on Saturdays and is for boys and girls.

Training sessions are £2 and take place in a secure location in the grounds of Bromley Trust Academy, Hayes Lane, BR2 9EA which is situated behind our church.

We coach in a friendly, pressure free environment and have a ten minute break to share something of our faith with the kids. We hope to see our youngsters develop into talented players who can go on to represent the men’s team. At present our first Academy player made his debut this past season, scoring his first goal.

Hayes Ambassadors Men’s Team
Founded in 1988, our men’s team competes in the Bromley and Croydon Christian FA Affiliated League. Our home ground is Norman Park and we have regular training sessions throughout the season. We’re always on the lookout for new players, so don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’re interested in joining the team.

Hayes Ambassadors Soccer School
During the Easter holidays, we hold a soccer school for all children in school years R–11.

More details will be posted closer to the time.
